Eucalyptus Carved Foraging Basket
This handcrafted foraging basket can be used for wild foraging, as a decor piece in your home or to place trinkets or treats on your kitchen counter.
This elegant wood foraging basket is hand carved from a single piece of sustainably sourced Blue Gum wood, a form of eucalyptus found throughout southeast Africa. The wood species in invasive in South Africa, and systematic removal of the wood protects native woods and old growth forests, making the pieces both beautiful and eco-friendly. They are polished to a raw, natural sheen, and can be sued for wild foraging of flowers and herbs, or as a decorative home piece for trinkets or serving treats. Blue Gum wood is dense and also stands up to the outdoors, weathering beautifully over time.
