kanju's stunningly textured crocodile collection is made from 100% organic material that is small batch- dyed, handmade in Zimbabwe using ethically and sustainably farmed Nile Crocodile tails. Each cuff/wrap is hand cut from a section of crocodile skin previously unused in production and made to fit the skin to ensure there is as little waste product as possible from the full crocodile. Because of this, there may be minor differences in full length and width, but the fit will always be as stated. This means that no two are exactly alike, and it is part of the uniqueness of our product.
The process of crocodile farming has been one of conservation's great success stories. 15% of all Crocodile Collection sales go to the Jafuta Foundation, a local resource supporting artisans and conservation in Victoria Falls. Our skins come from CITES-registered farms, where international bodies strictly monitor conditions.
